While the world tuned in for the Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony in Paris, we captured the spotlight with an iconic 1v1 tournament featuring 20 hoopers from around the globe. From the moment the athletes landed until the crowning of the male and female champions at the grand finale, our hoopers experienced Paris in true Jordan Brand fashion—visiting the Arc de Triomphe, shooting around at the iconic Pigalle Court, and training with legends Drew Hanlen and Phil Handy.
The One Global Finals—the main event—took place at the historic Le Trianon and L'Élysée Montmartre in Paris' 18th arrondissement. Tatianna Griffin and Steve Bah were crowned the world’s top male and female 1v1 players, each earning a year-long partnership with the brand after qualifying in global tournaments held in Shanghai, Los Angeles, New York, and beyond.
After the competition, Rema, Fat Joe, and Lola Brooke performed, seamlessly blending sport and culture. The event attracted NBA stars Chris Paul and Zion Williamson, acclaimed director Spike Lee, and District 23 Creative Director Youssouf Fofana, all of whom contributed to the programming, amplifying Jordan Brand’s powerful "Our Turn" message.
